Thanks to all!

Hi Everyone,
We just wanted to thank all those who have followed this blog.  As you can see from the date on my late post it has been awhile.  With time constraints I find I am not able to keep this up right now so for now at least this will be my last post to this blog.  Should things change we will let you know so check back periodically and thanks again for your support

Hey Everyone!

Stress is finally over!  The wedding was unique and beautiful.  It was the ultimate country wedding.  The bride - Mariah was in a cute sundress and barefooted.  She walked down a hay strewn aisle lined with branches holding bottles filled with wildflowers.  The groom - Cody was in his jeans and cowboy hat.  They were married under a canopy of trees by a preacher wearing bib overalls.  The guests sat on haybales and fought the summer heat with old fashioned hand fans with the couples picture on them.  Judy did a wonderful job getting the farm ready for the wedding and took beautiful pictures.  We so appreciate all the work she did on my family's behalf.

We hope to continue making the farm work for us by doing some more weddings here in the future.  Paying jobs this time!!! Ha!Ha!

Hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th!!!!
Until next time......

Spring into Summer!

Hi Every One!

I know I sound like a broke record..... Sorry it's been so long since my last post.  I do have a good excuse.  Between working my regular job, doing soap work - getting out some new product - Judy and I have also been preparing for my youngest son's wedding as well as a wedding shower and baby shower for another new grandchild on the way.  Yes I feel like the chicken with the proverbial head chopped off running around!

Since it is almost Summer!  We have decided to start a line of potpourri.  Alot of the botanicals we use are home grown or harvested from the woods on both our properties.  We are starting out with a fresh summer scent - Ocean Mist!  The potpourri comes with a small bottle of refresher oil so you can keep that fresh scent of summer going for a long time. The potpourri itself is a wonderful ocean blue color and has sea shells as well as local botanicals.  We  have been making an exclusive line of potpourri  for Duplin Winery in Rose Hill, NC for quite awhile and they do very well with it so we decided to branch out with some other scents for our regualr customers.  Reach out to your local stores and tell them they need to carry our line.  We would appreciate it alot!

As I said before we are preparing for the wedding of my youngest son Cody and his fiance Mariah. Judy has been doing lots of work at the farm.  The wedding will be held outside at the farm.  It will be a small affair but we expect it to be unique, beautiful and memorable all the same.  Judy a photographer by trade will be taking the pictures so we will post some of the event soon!  Keep a look out!

Until next time....

Our Newest Scent!

Hey Everyone!

Glad I am finally getting to post.  I have had a devil of a time just trying to post.  Blogger has changed their format or something and it totally threw my computer in a tailspin.  I only had to work three days on it to finally get it to let me post.  Still haven't got all the kinks worked out.  I know it's probably something simple but I can be computer challenged at times...

We are finally releasing one of our new scents!  Oatmeal Lemongrass Goatmilk Soap.  This one smells great of course!!! Fresh and clean like a freshly squeezed lemon with the added benefits of skin soothing oatmeal. Judy and I are working hard to get some new products in our line.  So keep an eye out!

Judy says the new babies should be coming soon so we will post some pictures when they arrive!

Unitl next time.....

My Late Christmas Gift!!!

Hi Everyone!

Hope your holidays were wonderful.  As you can see mine were GREAT!
Yes, I am now a Grandma.  Sarah Ann arrived January 7th.  A beautiful healthy baby that yes I am crazy over.  I didn't think being a Grandma was going to be a really big deal to me.  Boy was I wrong.  This cute little bundle has already stolen my heart.  I don't know for sure but I am betting she will be spoiled rotten.  I use to kid my husband about her wrapping Grandpa around her little finger but I think I am going to have to watch out for that myself!  Ha!  Ha!

Judy and I are trying to get geared up and introduce some new products before long.  We have a wonderful new soap scent soon to be released - Oatmeal Lemongrass - smells great!  We are also working on some soy wax tarts and sachets.  Hope to have these out soon.

Things are really busy around here and at the farm. In case I don't get to post before then I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day!

Until next time.....

Strange Bed Mates!

Gizzie & Friend!

Hi Everyone!

Judy and I are gearing up for Christmas!  We have some great new scents and products in the works.  We hope to preview our latest and greatest shortly.

We thought everyone would get a kick out of this picture Judy snapped.  It seems Judy's "Mentally Challenged" goat  Gizzie has a strange bed mate.  This chicken has decided Gizzie makes a great roost.  Like I said Gizzie is a little challenged but hey... she's happy the chicken's happy who am I to judge....

Judy now has a registered herd so new pictures will be coming soon of our new friends at the barn.

Until next time....
